The Autism Advocacy & Law Center in Minneapolis is currently accepting applications for a full-time Legal Assistant position. The Legal Assistant work support our attorneys in the areas of guardianship, estate planning, family law, and Social Security. Our Legal Assistant's core duties involve answering the phone, routing phone messages, filing court documents, and scheduling client appointments.
Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of experience in a legal environment, a dedication to assisting individuals with disabilities, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in our practice areas is preferred, but not necessary. We offer a collaborative work environment and are happy to train the right candidate.
Compensation starts at $25/hour and is commensurate with experience. This is an hourly position. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, disability insurance, 401(k) plan with employer contribution, parking, and a flexible work schedule.
